Jodie Sweetin in Hallmark+’s The Jane Mysteries
Jodie Sweetin is charming audiences with her latest project on Hallmark’s new streaming platform. Her new movie series, The Jane Mysteries, is a solid addition to the Hallmark+ lineup of original and exclusive content. Sweetin not only stars as Jane DaSilva, a singer who inherits a family non-profit detective agency, but also showcases her own singing talent throughout the series. As Jane takes on the challenge of solving cases for those who need help the most, Sweetin’s dual role as both detective and performer adds an extra layer of appeal to the show.
What’s The Jane Mysteries about?
Originally airing on Hallmark Mysteries in May 2023, The Jane Mysteries: Lost Inheritance introduced us to Jane DaSilva and her newly inherited detective agency.
The first film in the franchise, based on the novels by K.K. Beck, received mixed reviews. However, Hallmark must have recognized the franchise’s potential, as they greenlit three additional movies.
This new chapter in The Jane Mysteries features a compelling plot with Sweetin’s empathetic performance at its center. Hallmark+ premiered The Jane Mysteries: A Deadly Prescription on its launch day: September 10th, 2024.
